About Physician Fang Ting

Graduating from the Double Degree Programme in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, a collaboration between Nanyang Technological University and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, Fang Ting has delivered various TCM medical care to a diverse range of patient cases attentively. Throughout her studies and her career, Fang Ting has developed a unique blend of academic knowledge and practical expertise in pediatric care, including pediatric growth issues, respiratory diseases, and behavioral disorders such as ADHD and Tourette Syndrome. Enriched by personal stories and internships, Fang Ting understands the complex needs of children and is capable of designing personalized treatment plans that support childrens’ physical and emotional well-being through TCM.

Fang Ting has also delved into research and clinical interests in cardiovascular diseases, sleep disorders and neurological issues. By integrating the TCM principles of "心藏神,主血" (The Heart stores the spirit and governs the blood) and "血者,神气也" (Blood is the essence of the spirit), her practice emphasizes the regulation of Qi and blood to address these conditions. In the management of metabolic disorders, she also offers supportive care for weight management and other metabolic imbalances through the use of TCM.

As practitioner of a vegetarian diet, Fang Ting is passionate about helping fellow vegans and vegetarians balance their body constitution through Chinese medicine. Drawing from both her personal experiences and research on herb pairings and nutrient synergy, she offers valuable insights into plant-based nutrition, highlights common mistakes, and provides tailored recommendations for incorporating TCM herbal tea recipes into one's diet to support overall vitality. She hopes that those who choose a plant-based lifestyle can maintain physical health while staying aligned with their personal values.
